Rachel Paling

Rachel Marie Paling

Director of Efficient Language Coaching Ltd. – Certified & Accredited Neurolanguage Coach and ACC (ICF) – Creator of Neurolanguage Coaching®

Rachel Marie Paling founded Efficient Language Coaching Ltd. in 2008 and created the Neurolanguage Coaching® method owning the registered trademark. Rachel started teaching English as a Foreign Language to adults over 30 years ago. After obtaining a BA Honours in Law and Spanish (with distinction in spoken Spanish) at the University of Sheffield (UK) she did a Masters in Human Rights and Democratization (EMA) at the University of Padua, Italy and Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany. She continued with her studies and qualified as a UK Lawyer in 2003, but instead of pursuing a career as a lawyer, she combined her teaching experience, her specialisation in business English and her legal knowledge to coach top executives across Europe.


She has created the new method and approach called Neurolanguage Coaching® and has trained about 300 language teachers worldwide certifying them as Neurolanguage Coaches with her training course, one of the only language coaching certification courses in the world accredited by International Coach Federation USA. She now delivers this course to teachers of ANY discipline, to transform the educational process and in addition, she works with corporates worldwide to enhance communication and cross-cultural performance within International Teams.

Barbara Santos

HeartMath® Coach and Trainer

Barbara Santos believes that her mission is to help people live healthier and happier.

During her business career in Marketing and Communications for over 18-years, namely as a Team Manager, she felt the need to look for tools that could help her manage the high levels of stress associated with the corporate world.

Barbara’s search led her to find valuable tools and discover her real passion to teach those tools to others.

Now, as a HeartMath® Trainer and Coach, Barbara supports students, managers and other people in leadership positions who are incredible and powerful individuals, yet they still suffer from intense stress and moments of overwhelm. She helps them get their power back, reduce stress and boost their energy levels, so they can enjoy their lives and thrive even more.

Since 2010, she has been delivering Stress Management and Resilience workshops, namely to well-renowned organizations such as Deloitte, Unilever, SAGE and CATOLICA Business School – the Top Business School in Portugal.

Barbara is also a Team Leader at international events with the lecturer, author and researcher Dr. Joe Dispenza.

Bob Dignen is an international coach, trainer and leading author in the field of international team and leadership development to major global corporates including Zurich Group, Media Saturn, Henkel, Sodra, Credit Suisse and Roche Diagnostics.

As a trainer, Bob specialises in international team and leadership development workshops which he delivers to clients globally. He provides international leadership coaching to C-suite and succession / talent pools, and to leaders of international projects.

George Kokolas

Academic Director and Senior Teacher Trainer for Express Publishing

George Kokolas has been working as the Academic Director and Senior Teacher Trainer for Express Publishing for the last 18 years. He is also a certified Neurolanguage Coach®. Right after his graduation he branched out from his major in English Literature and devoted himself fully to ELT. He likes to be considered as a frontline teacher spending many hours inside the classroom teaching and learning at the same time. He loves blending together ELT methods with techniques/theories from other fields and practices (f.e. social and cognitive psychology, leadership, coaching, NLP etc). His vast experience has been of considerable help in developing helpful and practical views about different topics of ELT Methodology, like gamification, motivation, effective learning, technology in the classroom, critical thinking, differentiated instruction and much more. Ian McMaster

Ian McMaster is editor-in-chief of the bi-monthly business communication magazine Business Spotlight (www.business-spotlight.de). The magazine is aimed at people who need to use English internationally and is published by Spotlight Verlag in Munich, Europe’s leading publisher of language-learning magazines (www.spotlight-verlag.de).

Ian joined Spotlight Verlag in 1992 and was editor-in-chief of the monthly general English magazine Spotlight from 1995-2003, and from 2006-2009. He founded Business Spotlight in 2001. In 2007, Business Spotlight was awarded the title of Germany’s trade journal of the year for the category “Law, science, tax and business”. It also has a licence edition the Czech Republic.

Ian holds the CertTEB qualification as a business English trainer and is a former coordinator of the worldwide business English teachers’ organisation, IATEFL-BESIG (https://besig.iatefl.org/). He is co-author (with Bob Dignen) of Communication for International Business and Effective International Business Communication (both HarperCollins); and English for Business: 100 Tips for Effective Communication (Spotlight Verlag, e-book).

Jose de Sousa is a Brain Based Executive Coach for Finance Professionals, and the Chief Success Officer of YES!-You Ensure Success!

From November 2016 to February 2019, he was a Member Experience Ambassador for ICF in EMEA, providing support related to ICF membership and ICF Credentials to 8 chapters – all the Nordic countries plus Portugal, Spain and Italy.

Previously, and from 2015 to 206 he was the Treasurer of the ICF Portugal Chapter.

While at HP, from 2009 to 2013, and on top of his official role of a Controller for EMEA IT Outsourcing Contracts, he was an Internal Coach, member of the HP Coaching Network, having delivered coaching to more than 30 HP employees, from more than 10 countries. Luca Lampariello

Luca Lampariello has been studying foreign languages for over 20 years. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from La Sapienza University of Rome and attended the Higher Institute of Interpretation and Translation in Paris.

He is fluent in ten languages and has coached hundreds of students using an original system of study to develop native-like pronunciation and syntactic capacity. Since 2008, his videos on YouTube and blog, The Polyglot Dream, have attracted thousands of followers and language learners all around the world. He has his own company called LinguaCore, which he founded in 2015 and which produces revolutionising language learning video courses.

Sharyn Collins

Sharyn Collins has a degree in linguistics and is a polyglot. Having taught German and EFL in industry for many years, she is now editor in chief of EFLmagazine.com and a specialist in communication and charismatic leadership. She believes that charisma is a vital tool for enhancing personal and business relationships and given the right circumstances, anyone can be taught to be charismatic.

Thomas F. Feiner


Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback

Thomas Feiner is the founder and owner of the Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback since 2008. He has more than 25 years of experience in the treatment of brain-related disorders like Trauma, ADD, Stress, and Depression. Thomas Feiner has created scientifically based training programs and software for children with learning disorders and hundreds of therapists and trainers have become successful with his methods.  In his clinical work, he combines Neurofeedback pEMF, Photobiomodulation, NLP and tDCS.  Besides his clinical education programs for Neurofeedback therapists, he also gave numerous seminars and talked about Quantitative EEG, Peak Performance, Biofeedback, and effective Neurocognitive testing and training.  Also, he is well known for his successful organizing of great international workshops with some of the best clinicians in the Neurofeedback field. He has successfully trained numerous athletes, executives, and artists in his institute. Thomas Feiner is also a pioneer in transcranial Photobiomodulation in the research and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, but he also promotes and teaches transcranial stimulation for Peak Performance and accelerated learning.  In his Institute for EEG-Neurofeedback, he also supports neuroscientific studies and development of advanced Neurofeedback protocols together with his professional team. During the last years, he developed CAPITO, a software which allows testing of cognitive performance and Event-Related Potentials (ERPs). In 2015 he was asked to contribute with his program for the Gamma Asymmetry work of Dr. Bonnstetter and Dr. Thomas F. Collura.   Dr. Estate Sokhadze (Clemson University), Prof. Chiarenza and Dr. Carlos Zalaquett (Pennstate University) started using CAPITO in their research projects since 2017.  Thomas Feiner holds several patents for the products he developed and his software is also used in many clinics all over the world for the quick neuropsychological testing of attention and impulse control.  He is the author and co-author of numerous scientifically publications and speaks on many international conferences like ISNR and AAPB. He is often invited as an expert on EEG-Brain imaging, Neurofeedback, ADD, Biomarkers and learning in general. Since 2016 he is also involved in a colossal research project on human brain mapping, where he measured with his group more than 3000 EEGs from meditators in several retreats since the last 3 years.
